Red Rebels for Clean Oceans: Public Engagement Action Plan:

The Clare Red Rebels Theatre Group accompany Extinction Rebellion action in Clare in silent, solemn protest.

They attend/support actions of other groups working for change
in how we address environmental needs in surrounding areas.

Some of our co-researchers involved in Red Rebel protest proposed an action based on clean oceans.
The action was not able to go ahead but the action design is available on this page.

This includes actions at Shannon Airport protesting its use for refueling US military flights at the Airport.

Location: Beaches, rivers, lakes

Rebel Numbers Needed: 1, 3, or more

Purpose:

Public engagement on the issue of ocean pollution and impacts to the wider planetary eco-system
